We are based in Fulford, just one mile from the centre of York and a 15 minute stroll by the riverside from York City Centre.
Set up by Joe Dyrdal with wife Margaret in 1969, the garage quickly became known for its superior customer service and dedication to making customers happy with great value and trustworthy cars. After many years of building the garage up into one of the most respected in the area, Joe transferred the business to his son and daughter, who took the business to the next level with a much needed extension to the original building enabling increased sales.
In current times Joe is still in the business and daughter Angela has also joined to help us on to our next chapter. So, there have been a few changes over the years but at our core we are still small enough to know and care about our customers. Our aim is to help people continue to enjoy Volvo’s for many years and generations to come.
We source our stock from our customers who are upgrading and from trusted local sources. Very often the car you buy is one we have already looked after for some years. Every car we sell undergoes thorough testing and inspections to make sure it is right for you.
